Sur moi

D’où vient le nom DJ SpyMeech. À l’époque de mon service dans la marine Canadienne, j’étais le seul québécois francophone de mon département. Les médias parlaient de l’accord du Lac Meech, et c’est comme ça que je me suis retrouvé avec le surnom Meech qui m’a suivi même après mon service. Le capitaine du dernier navire que j’ai servi s’adressait a moi comme Matelot Chef Meech au lieu de Matelot Chef Métivier. Et : ‘‘Spy’’ à été ajouté pour mettre du piquant et fascination envers le personnage James Bond.

About me

Where does the name DJ SpyMeech come from? At the time of my service in the Canadian navy, I was the only Quebecer French speaker in my department. The media were talking about the Meech Lake agreement, and that’s how I got involved. found myself with the nickname Meech which followed me even after my service. The captain of the last ship I served addressed me as Chief Mate Meech instead of Chief Mate Métivier. And: “Spy” was added to add some spice and fascination with the character James Bond.
